The simplest model is also known as the Derby. Very common in the European continent since the late 19th century, it was named after the Duke of Wahlstadt, Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, a Prussian soldier who commissioned the manufacture of this shoe for his soldiers.
It is one of the most comfortable shoes, suitable for wide feet thanks to its side seams which allow the vamp to be made in just one piece.
Shoes made entirely from bovine leather, with a leather sole and heel. The sole is hand sewn.
The Blucher is available in two different versions: semi-brogue and full-brogue.
